A life of art and curiosity

Born and raised in Vermont, I have always had a deep love for all flora and fauna. I spent my summers catching frogs and salamanders, swimming in the lake, and chasing chickens on the farm. Despite this idyllic childhood, I dreamed of moving to New York City and being an artist. I craved the city life and a community of artist peers. At 17 I moved to Brooklyn to attend Pratt Institute where I majored in Illustration, but explored many different forms of art as well. My career has taken me through printmaking, home goods design, and fabrication until I finally found floristry. I’ve been a freelance florist in NYC since 2016, and while I’ve loved every moment of it, I missed creating art that was entirely my own. Thus, Marrow Floral was born.. a project combining all of the things I love into one happy little package. I’ve found such joy in creating these and I hope you love them as well.
